Hello everyone! Some of our long time fans may have noticed we haven't been putting out quite as many stories as we were before. There have been lots of happenings in the Holtzem house, for sure, the last 8 months or so. Nothing super interesting or controversial. Just that......WE MOVED!!

We listed our home for sale, originally, in June of 2024. It has been a very, VERY tough journey. As we listed, got a buyer who backed out, took the house back off the market, and put it back on again.....and back off and back on again...... we finally sold it in February. But we had probably around 50 showings in those months (at least). Trying to keep the house clean, and then taking our four kids (and a dog and cat) out for showings was pretty much our lives for 8 months. I don't recommend selling your house for the faint of heart. There were lots of exhausted kiddos, lots of tears, and so many rollercoaster emotions over moving altogether. We weren't looking to change scenery too much, just move to an adjacent city (Parker, CO. was the ultimate goal). We wanted to keep our lives mostly the same: church, the options program the kids attend once a week, Dad's work, even the parks we frequented - we didn't want to change any of that. We just needed a bigger house (multiple kids using one bathroom just wasn't working great, many accidents over the years while awaiting turns for the potty!).

Well we are so thankful for God's provision! We prayed and prayed. We wondered if we were doing the right thing selling at all. We wondered where God was leading, and why was this such a difficult path. We had 3 offers on houses to buy that we loved and all contracts for those houses broken, or expired. Many offers rejected. We ended up looking for a house at a time where inventory was at it's lowest, and it was one we had seen before. A little farther out of town than we had hoped, in Elizabeth, CO. The first time we saw it, it was so out of budget, we could not have bought it. The second time, it was more in our range, and it seemed more perfect than any other house we had seen.

I'm telling you all this just to say, God answers prayers! It may not be the answer you thought, it may be a "no", or "no for now", but he answers in ways we cannot fathom and it's amazing! His timing is perfect. We continued trying to put out at least one story a week and we were able to do that. We now are planning to build a little sound proof studio to bring you more stories. We also are publishing our Patreon so we can have more input on what kind of stories and extra content our listeners want.

In our new house, we are having to record in our closet, which is interesting! I just recorded the second book in The Adventures of Sophie Mouse series.

New recording studio for now!

Thank you so much for your love and support! We enjoy making stories, and we are so glad you love them, too!

Happy Days!

22 "And he said to his disciples, “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat, nor about your body, what you will put on. 23 For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing. 24 Consider the ravens: they neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn, and yet God feeds them. iOf how much more value are you than the birds! 25 And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?3 26 If then you are not able to do as small a thing as that, why are you anxious about the rest? 27 Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 28 But if God so clothes the grass, which is alive in the field today, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will he clothe you, lO you of little faith! 29 And do not seek what you are to eat and what you are to drink, nor be worried. 30 For all the nations of the world seek after these things, and your Father knows that you need them. 31 Instead, seek his kingdom, and these things will be added to you."
