Hot Chocolate Fudge

This fudge is one of my favorites. It's simple to make, simple flavors, but delicious. I have made this every year for Christmas for the last 5 years, and I will continue. It's classic!

Luckily, this recipe is not affected by high altitude, unlike other fudge recipes....that I had to make....and re-make....and re-make.....until I finally figured it out.

No worries for this one! Super simple, quick, and gives you all those cozy cocoa feels.

Hot Cocoa Fudge Recipe:

  • 3 cups dark chocolate chips

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 T unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract, or vanilla bean paste

  • 1 cup marshmallow bits (to cover the top)

  • Spray a 9x 9 inch pan with cooking spray, and line with parchment paper.

  • Over medium heat, add the sweetened condensed milk to a saucepan. Whisk in the cocoa powder.

  • Stir in the chocolate chips until well combined, add vanilla extract. (Mixture will get really think, really fast so be ready to pour into the pan as soon as it's combined.)

  • Pour into the pan, and add the marshmallow bits right away and press firmly with hands. If you wait too long, they will not stick very well.

  • Refrigerate for 2 hours, cut to desired size ( I usually cut 1 inch by 2 inches)

  • Store in an airtight container. This fudge tastes best right out of the fridge.
